The board of commissioners in Otter Tail County, Minnesota recently approved a 45-day extension to determine if further environmental review is necessary for the White Earth Nation’s proposed Star Lake Casino complex. The board has until August 22 to decide if the tribe should complete a more detailed Environmental Impact Statement in addition to the Environmental Assessment Worksheet previously submitted. The Otter Tail County board in Minnesota will consider whether to require further environmental review for the proposed Star Lake Casino and hotel.
